A few useful answers.
Straightforward information to help you take the next step.
Does a small shop need a fire risk assessment?
If your premises fall within the Fire Safety Order, the responsible person must make sure a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is completed and kept up to date. Small businesses must also record their findings and fire safety arrangements.
How often should an assessment be reviewed?
Review it regularly and when there is reason to think it is no longer valid, or after a significant change. There is no single annual interval prescribed for every premises. The appropriate review arrangements depend on the risks and circumstances.
Can you help with an HMO?
Yes. Tell us about the building, its layout and how it is occupied. We can discuss the assessment scope and relevant fire safety needs, including shared areas and any local licensing requirements.
Can you help arrange improvements afterwards?
Where improvements are needed, we can help arrange installation and maintenance through specialist contractors. The findings also give you a clear basis for discussing work with your own chosen providers.
Which areas do you cover?
We serve London and Essex, with our correspondence address in East Ham. Email the property postcode and a brief description so we can discuss your enquiry.
